Israel Political Parties: Democratic Choice
A Russian immigrant party that splintered off of Yisrael Ba'aliya after the 1999 elections. Founded and led by MK Roman Bronfman and MK Alexander Tsinker, Democratic Choice (DC) has two seats in the 15th Knesset. DC wants to promote civil society issues, separation of religion and state, the adoption of a constitution and equal rights for all citizens.
