Miron (Michrovsky), Issachar
MIRON (Michrovsky), ISSACHAR (1920– ), Israeli composer. Born in Poland, Miron studied composition and conducting at the Warsaw Conservatory. He settled in Ereẓ Israel in 1939. He served in the British Army's Jewish Brigade and during that period composed his most popular song "Tzena, Tzena" ("Come Out, Come Out"). This song was performed and recorded all over the world by singers such as Pete Seeger, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, and Richard *Tucker.
