Jan Jakub Litauer

LITAUER, JAN JAKUB (1873–1949), Polish jurist. Litauer was professor of civil procedure at the University of Lodz (1945–47) and at the Polish Free College in Warsaw after 1949. He was a member of the committee for the codification of the law and one of the drafters of the Code of Civil Procedure. He was later a judge of the Supreme Court of Poland.
